Ms. Barbara Fortier has been teaching for over twenty one years. She teaches in the style of the Russian school, having had private study of the Vaganova system with former principal dancers, Stanislav Issaev, Ramazan Bapov, Natalia Shevchenko, and Leo Flegmatov. She has performed locally in Atlanta, and with the Kingsport Ballet in Kingsport, Tennessee, under the directorship Valeria Sinyavskaya.
